5:21 “So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. 3:23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. 3:24 Yet God, in His grace, freely makes us right in His sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when He freed us from the penalty for our sins. 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” 10:13 “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
15:10 “In the same way, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels when even one sinner repents.”
When you gave your heart to the Lord, you made the distinct declaration that you are no longer a part of this world! You are now a resident of Heaven! Because of the Grace of God you now have right standing with the Almighty God! He is glorious, He is Holy, He is Eternal! Even though you are a sinner and could never reach perfection on your own, by accepting the sacrifice Christ Jesus made on the cross you are now free of that sin, you have been made right. You may fall short of God’s glorious standard, but your God, your Father in Heaven no longer sees your sin, He only sees you through the eyes of Jesus. Sin no longer rules over your life!
Why not make it goal for this New Year to share with others this eternal life you have been given… You may be the one to plant the seeds of hope in someone else’s heart or you could be the one who waters the truth they have already heard, it also could be you who helps an unsaved friend or family member come to know the Lord.
Rejoice! Just as the angels of Heaven do when just one person comes to know the Lord because they called on the Name of Jesus and were saved from their sin and the wages of that sin. Rejoice! Because one more person accepted the free gift God offers to everyone!
Prayer:
Father God, I know I have sinned and fall short of Your glorious standard. But now I have Jesus residing within me which gave me Salvation and right standing with You. Thank you, Jesus, for saving me when I called out Your Name. Thank You for the free gift of LIFE! Now Lord as I go about my daily routine, I pray my life would sow seeds of Hope, water seeds of Truth and help bring others to Salvation through You. AMEN.
