***Means you are completely delivered from the power and effects of sin and death***
Read John Chapter 4
Key Verses: John 4:10, 13-14 and 26…
10 Jesus replied, “If you only knew the gift God has for you and who you are speaking to, you would ask Me, and I would give you living water. 13 …Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again. 14 But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.” 26 Then Jesus told her, “I am the Messiah!”
Jesus is the Messiah! He is the Lord of lords! The King of kings! He is the only One you should go to, to have your thirst quenched. What is it you thirst for? What are the things that you desire and long for? Do you seek satisfaction in the world? Do your desires get lured in by what the world seems to offer you? Jesus says He is the Messiah, the Savior, it is only in Him that you will find living water which will quench your every desire.
John 7:37-38 says, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to Me! Anyone who believes in Me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from His heart.’”
Through the Holy Spirit, this living water flows. When the living water flows through you, John 4:14 says you will never be thirsty again! Looking to anything else, other than what the Lord gives, will leave you disappointed and unfulfilled. Look to Jesus, drink deeply, become that vessel whose life pours out like a bubbling spring. Eternal life is the gift that you will receive as you quench your thirst by believing and accepting Jesus as your only source of satisfaction in this life.
Prayer:
Dear Jesus, come and quench the thirst that drives my desires to seek the world instead of You. Jesus, I want my life to be overflowing with Your Living Water. Fill me to capacity so there isn’t room for anything else but You. Lord Jesus, I want my life to be like a bubbling spring. When the world around me sees the way I live my life, I pray they will want to have what I have and want to quench their thirst the same way I am. Thank You Jesus for saving me and being my living water and thank You for quenching my thirst. AMEN.
