Read Psalm Chapter 125

Key Verse: Psalm 125:4…

“Author is Anonymous”

Those who trust in the Lord are as secure as Mount Zion;
    they will not be defeated but will endure forever.
Just as the mountains surround Jerusalem,
    so the Lord surrounds his people, both now and forever.
The wicked will not rule the land of the godly,
    for then the godly might be tempted to do wrong.
O Lord, do good to those who are good,
    whose hearts are in tune with You.
But banish those who turn to crooked ways, O Lord.
    Take them away with those who do evil.

May Israel have peace!

PRAYER:

I trust in You, Lord. When You are near I know I am secure, and the enemy can not defeat me. Lord God, as I come to You in prayer today, surround me with Your presence. I pray that the world and all its wickedness will be forever banished from my life. As I trust in You and find my security in You, Lord, I pray that I wouldn’t be tempted to do wrong. My heart is in tune with You; and I am so grateful for the good things You have done in my life. My wholehearted prayer is that my heart will continue to trust in You and know Your goodness. I pray that my heart will remain in tune with You, my Lord, my Savior, my King. Amen.
