Psalm 70

Read Psalm Chapter 70

Key Verses: Psalm 70:4…

“Psalm of David”

Please, God, rescue me! Come quickly, Lord, and help me.
May those who try to kill me
 be humiliated and put to shame.
May those who take delight in my trouble
 be turned back in disgrace.
Let them be horrified by their shame,
 for they said, “Aha! We’ve got him now!”
But may all who search for You be filled with joy and gladness in You.
May those who love Your Salvation
 repeatedly shout, “God is Great!”
But as for me, I am poor and needy; please hurry to my aid, O God.
You are my Helper and my Savior;
 Lord, do not delay.

PRAYER:

(For today’s prayer… let’s just reread this entire chapter as a prayer to our Father in Heaven! Our Father is faithful to come to our aid when we pour out our hearts to Him. And one way to do that is to pray Scripture.)

Repeat this chapter as a prayer as many times as you need to… we all need to believe and to be reassured that when we search for the Lord with our whole hearts, we will be filled with joy and gladness, no matter our circumstances.
